We believe it is critical to be talking to clients about green investing during Client Reviews. Many of our clients are already sold on ethical investing. However we do not just talk to clients about green investing from an ethical standpoint. We also consider returns and the returns are good and can be sold as such depending on the risk the client is willing to take. Having said that people who are actively concerned about investing for the right reasons are going to do it anyway.But some advisers are scared to be seen to be investing for non-financial reasons In our case many of our Ethical Investors invest in such funds because of their beliefs and not just because of returns.Having said all that, balanced and diversified portfolios are available to match the Client’s risk profile and they can decide to invest with our help in either a positive or negative manner. Positive means investments that take a responsible approach to a wide range of environmental, social and governance issues.
